Read Chapter 12 Section 1 and write a one page summary of the section. This is due on 2 December 2014.

OBJECTIVES FOR 20 -25 October 2014

We will begin looking at the History and Culture of Europe. Specifically Ancient Greece and Rome, The Middle Ages, Modern Europe, Europe's Population and Europe's Culture. We will then move into Western Europe and officially begin out passport travels and travel journals that will make up part of our final exam.
OBJECTIVES FOR 13 - 15 October 2014

WE WILL STUDY THE REGION OF EUROPE:
Monday 13 October we will identify the physical features of Europe by creating a physical map, labeling and coloring.
Tuesday 14 October we will complete our physical Map of Europe and begin the Political Map
Wednesday 15 October we will continue our examination of Physical/Political maps Europe

This week will will examine the Solstice and Equinox - The reason for the seasons
Understand global time zones
Examine the interactions of humans and their environment by identifying natural resources, developed and devoloping countries. We will look at the cause and effect of deforestation, adequation housing, population density, and resource distrobution.

Objectives:
15 - 19 September
This week we will identify climate regions, we will analyze the role of location to specific climates, and chart climates using a climate graph. We will examine forces that change the surface of the earth and determine the causes of natural disasters and their effects on world populations.

OBJECTIVES:

We will begin working on learning the 5 Themes of Geography
We will use charts and graphs to understand how  each theme is related and what drives populations
